    It can happen that once you have downloaded the games from Steam, it gives a message that the key is already in use.

    Try the following steps to make the game running again:

    1) Make sure you cleaned any keygen key entries in the registry (Win+R -> regedit)

    Find Activision both in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE and the same stuff may be here if you own 64bit windows: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node

    2) Install COD, then CODUO through the Steam.

    3) Run CODUO MP and get into the Multiplayer options. Then hit the Insert CD KEY.

    It may trigger the game to create the unique key entry in the registry.

    4) Go to the registry (see pt.1) and copy the key. You may alt-tab from the game with ALT+ENTER.

    5) Insert the CD KEY you got in the registry into the game (see pt.3).

    6) Activate the Punkbuster / Allow map download in the same menu (see pt.3).

    7) Re-run the game / Windows.
